Upon the directive of Dr. Usman Anwar, the Inspector General of Punjab Police, a new era of convenience has dawned for citizens as the Punjab Police introduces the electronic driving license. In a special message, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar proudly announced that the Punjab Police has taken a groundbreaking step by launching the electronic driving license system, a first-of-its-kind initiative in Pakistan.

Now, obtaining your driving license is as easy as a few clicks. Citizens can simply register their national identity card and date of birth on the Punjab Traffic Police's website, known as DLIMS, to secure their electronic driving license. This digital marvel can be effortlessly downloaded in PDF format and saved on your mobile device, making it a hassle-free companion for your journeys.

One remarkable feature of the e-driving license is the inclusion of a QR code, which serves as a verification tool for traffic police officers. This digital license is not just a piece of paper; it's a comprehensive record that includes a color photograph, address details, and all essential license particulars.

Highlighting the Punjab Police's dedication to ensuring road safety, Dr. Usman Anwar revealed that they have successfully issued driving licenses to over 3 million citizens this year alone. Furthermore, the number of licensing centers across the province has seen remarkable growth, increasing from 45 to more than 200.
